2017 - 18 Season

 Friday 10 February 2017 - 12:10:23 | Dave

We will be issuing next seasons memberships as from March 13th 2017. All three shops, Rovers, Mannings and Daves will be equipped to deal with your memberships. You can also send your applications to me and I will deal with them as normal.

Please feel free to send your applications into me as early as you like so I can spread the work over the next few weeks.

Please note that only one passport photo is required for EXISTING members, and only 2 photos for new members. I do NOT require photos of Juveniles any longer, only Junior and above.

Also, please note that due to some dubious actions from some of our members, we have had to make some changes to the membership card and there will also be a charge for any replacement cards in the future, so please look after your cards and do not lose them. Replacement cards are only available from the Hon. Sec. in the future.

If you have any questions, please ring me on 07507970910

Barbel Stocking

 Friday 20 January 2017 - 13:26:57 | Dave

We are very pleased to announce that we have finally been granted permission to stock Barbel in our lakes. This is something we as a Club have been fighting for for years and Steve Mottershead (FMO) was successful after putting a very good case over to the EA.

It has been decided to stock these into Tithe middle and bottom lake to see how they progress, as they will be small when stocked.

This is great news for the Club and we hope it is just the start and hope to see the Rivers Wallington and possibly the Hamble benefit from them.
It has been proven that barbel, although being a river species, can survive and even thrive very well in still waters. This excites us as they have great fighting abilities and are a stunning fish to catch anywhere.

The future looks great for the Club and we congratulate Steve on his hard work and making this happen.

Lakeside - 16th Jan 2017

 Monday 16 January 2017 - 16:20:48 | Dave

All,

Please be aware that the pump at Lakeside is currently broken and the water level on site is high and rising.

In the meantime, the landlord has asked that no vehicles drive on to the lake.

Thank you for understanding. We will update when the issue is resolved.
